A One-Day Small Tattoo Event in Honour of St. Margaret’s Bay Pride.
In honour of St. Margaret’s Bay Pride, Roy is offering a rare one-day small tattoo event at Classique Ink and Aesthetics in Upper Tantallon, Nova Scotia.
Pride Small Tattoo Day is created for people who want a small tattoo with meaning, care, privacy, and intention.
This is not a traditional flash day.
No chaotic walk-ins. No loud shop energy. No rushed sticker tattoos chosen in 30 seconds under pressure.
This is a private, pre-booked, one-on-one small tattoo event designed for people who want something meaningful in a calmer environment.
Each appointment is reserved in advance so the tattoo can be approached with care, clarity, proper placement, hygiene, and long-term wearability in mind.
Tattoos, Held With Intention
Small tattoos may look simple, but they still deserve thoughtful decisions.
The size may be small, but the meaning can still be personal. A small tattoo can hold memory, identity, grief, softness, joy, resistance, transformation, self-expression, or a quiet reminder of something you have lived through.
For this event, you are welcome to bring your own simple idea, symbol, word, text, or design reference.
And if you are unsure what to get, Roy has created a series of concept sheets inspired by their ongoing philosophy: Body as Archive.
These concept sheets include minimal symbolic tattoo ideas around themes such as becoming, softness, protection, direction, healing, memory, transformation, and personal growth.
These are not fixed flash designs.
They are starting points for a conversation — symbols, concepts, and visual cues that can be refined into something personal, intentional, and suited to your body.
If something resonates with you, it can be refined for your body, placement, scale, and long-term healing. Or you can bring something entirely your own.
The Philosophy Behind the Designs
Roy’s tattoo approach is rooted in the idea that the body is not blank.
Your body already carries memory. It carries change, survival, identity, grief, softness, strength, and becoming.
Tattooing can become a thoughtful visual representation of what you have lived, survived, learned, reclaimed, or chosen to remember.
The concept sheets created for this event are simple, delicate, and symbolic. They are designed for people who want a tattoo that feels personal without needing to be large, loud, or overly complex.
A small mark can still say something important.
Tattoo Options and Pricing
There are two small tattoo options available for Pride Small Tattoo Day.
$100 + tax — Fine Line Small Tattoo
This option is for simple fine line tattoos up to 2 inches.
It is best suited for minimal line work, small symbols, simple words, initials, tiny meaningful marks, or clean delicate designs.
$200 + tax — Detailed Small Tattoo
This option is for more detailed small tattoos up to 3 inches.
It may include light shading, small filled areas, slightly more detailed line work, or a design that requires more time and refinement.
Final placement, size, and detail level will be reviewed before the appointment is confirmed.
A Private and Calm Tattoo Experience
What makes this day different is the environment.
Pride Small Tattoo Day will take place inside Roy’s private art and clinical studio, one person at a time, with intention, precision, hygiene, and care.
Quiet.
No audience.
No sensory chaos.
No rushed decision-making.
For anyone who feels overwhelmed by crowded tattoo shops, loud music, bright overstimulating environments, social anxiety, or fast-paced walk-in tattoo culture, this event is designed to feel different.
The experience is slower, more private, and more considered.
Why Pride Matters Here
This event is especially meaningful to offer in honour of St. Margaret’s Bay Pride because autonomy over the body matters.
Identity matters. Safety matters. Self-expression matters. Being able to choose what belongs on your own body matters.
Pride Small Tattoo Day is not limited to Pride-themed tattoos. Your tattoo can be symbolic, personal, soft, playful, emotional, minimal, spiritual, or entirely your own.
The event simply holds space for permanent body art in a way that is respectful, private, and affirming.
Who This Event Is For
This event is for people who want a small, meaningful tattoo in a calm and private setting.
It may be a good fit if you are getting your first tattoo, want something small and symbolic, have been waiting for a more accessible tattoo opportunity with Roy, prefer a quieter studio experience, or want a tattoo connected to identity, memory, healing, transformation, or personal meaning.
You do not need to arrive with a perfect design.
You can bring an idea, choose inspiration from Roy’s concept sheets, or start with a feeling or symbol that can be refined into a tattoo.
